NICU Day 62

Baby Girl decided she was done with nasal cannula today, so she removed hers. They decided to let her try without it for a while and she's about the same as she was with it on, so far.  We shall see how she does.  I did get to feed her again today and Baby Girl likes to EAT.  Daddy cuddled her for an hour or so as well.  I like the new NICU area, it is lots quieter and very peaceful.

  1. She looks so great :) I hope she can remain cannula-free! When Izzy was recovering from her OHS, she would not leave the cannula alone, even managed to get it off when she was in restraints (she was yanking on everything she could--chest tubes, central line, IVs, feeding tube....). Luckily her needs were low enough they could set her up with a blow by tube instead of the cannula.
